I'm not going to lie. I was (and still am) very excited about my podcasting of the Battle of the Bands in Grahamstown. Not only because I love watching live music, but also because this is an opportunity to really combine my radio skills and my love of music.
But I also have to admit that I was also incredibly nervous about the whole process because it involves lots of things which I either haven't tried or feel a little technically shaky about.

- I was born and raised in Polokwane, Limpopo which isn’t exactly a cultural hub but somehow found my way to Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape and realised that I actually do quite like studying journalism. I have a maybe unnatural obsession with music and would one day like to work somewhere that would combine my love for music and my journalism knowledge. I also enjoy regular folk things like reading and the beach and I am generally open -minded except towards closed minded people.
